MATSim Singapore is the first full implementation of an agentbased transport demand model for Singapore. As MATSim is designed for scale and speed, it allows to simulate largescale and finely detailed scenarios such as the Singapore case with 5 million agents, 100 000 links, 400 public transport lines and 100000 destinations. Based on the idea of the 24 h daily activity schedule as the basic behavioural unit, MATSim Singapore features full temporal dynamics and simulates islandwide transport of a regular week day.
In a half-day workshop on February 29, 2012, MATSim Singapore will be presented by the Future Cities Lab of the Singapore ETH Centre in Singapore. The workshop is open to the public and free of charge. Please see the attachted flyer for more details and information about registering for the event.
